Welcome back to one of our favorite holiday traditions at Black & Gold Tavern: the 12 Days of Christmas Cocktails! Every year, our team steps behind the bar with one mission—craft the best damn holiday drink in Columbia and bring the community together during the most festive stretch of the season.
For twelve straight days, we’re rolling out one featured cocktail per day, each one created by a member of our bartending staff. You show up, you try the drink, and you cast your vote. It’s that simple—and yes, bragging rights matter.
This year’s winner walks away with $300–$500, based on the quality of their cocktail and how well they help make the event a hit. So trust us: everyone is bringing their A-game.
How It Works
One new cocktail is featured each day from December 13 through Christmas Eve.
Try the drink—you must purchase the daily cocktail to vote that day.
At the end of the 12 days, we tally the votes and crown the winner.
Behind the scenes, our bartenders are competing anonymously.
You won’t know whose drink you’re tasting, and they won’t tell you.
Fair is fair—and it keeps things fun.
